  • These people are REAL English speakers. They just happen to be of Asian descent, and to a lesser extent African descent. What does the color of skin, rather than national origin, have to do with teaching another culture? Lee, the teacher of Korean descent, was Canadian.

  • You didn't actually read the article, did you? He's not keeping the money. The Dalai Lama escaped execution and has been forced to live in exile since 1959 fighting for Tibet and social injustice everywhere for 50+ years. He has refused to accept Chinese citizenship.

  • The DEA spokeswoman has already admitted they forgot about Chong. He was admitted to intensive care. DEA cannot hold an individual without charging him and bringing him before a judge. I say they cannot but they can, they obviously did that here, it's just unconstitutional.

  • What charges? He was never charged in the first place and was never going to be charged. Being in the home of people using pot, even using pot yourself, does not allow so-called authorities to hold you for 5 days without being charged and brought before a judge.
